Operation Smile Bake Sale!

Here at North Carolina Marketing Solutions pride ourselves in making donations to charities. Our charity of choice is Operation Smile. Operation Smile prides themselves in giving reconstructive surgery to children with cleft lip and cleft palates for families who cannot afford them. Our goal is to raise enough money so that 12 children can have the surgeries and have their smiles changed forever.

So, as one of our first fundraising efforts for 2013, we decided to organize a bake sale. We got together on Thursday for our weekly team night and decided to put our baking skills to the test!

Some of the items we featured were home made fudge, cookies, muffins, and rice krispies treats!

We may have had a few casualties with our wooden spoons along the way, but all in all we were able to bake enough so we have plenty of supplies for our bake sale.









When all was said and done, we individually wrapped our goodies and sold them for $1 each on Friday morning in our office. We were able to raise over $120 for Operation Smile just that morning!
